Get to Know LB Europe Regional Manager Edward Rigg

Edward Rigg brings more than 27 years of extensive experience in the lift industry to his role as Regional Manager South for Lerch Bates Europe. His career in vertical transportation spans multiple sectors and encompasses a wide range of technical and managerial disciplines.

Edward began his professional journey as a Marine Engineer in the Royal Navy, later transitioning into the lift industry where he has since held numerous positions across lift installation, modernisation, and project management. Since joining Lerch Bates Europe in 2022, Edward has continued to apply his industry knowledge to deliver tailored solutions across complex vertical transportation projects.

Operating from the Southwest of England, Edward’s responsibilities include:

• Full-service design and construction management
• Systems analysis and performance evaluation
• Preparation and review of contract and tender documentation
• Final acceptance inspections
• Principal Designer duties in compliance with CDM regulations
• Maintenance management of national lift portfolios
