Get to Know LB Europe Lift Consultant John Langton

John Langton, Vertical Transportation Consultant and appointed Authorising Engineer, has more than 39 years of lift industry experience. Beginning as an Engineer, John progressed into the roles of Senior Engineer and then Project Manager. With a wide range of experience from offshore project management in the oil and gas industry to technical training, John brings an array of technical expertise to his role as a Lift Consultant.

As a Lift Consultant, Langton is responsible for: 

• • Complete design and construction services 
  • System analysis 
  • Preparation and review of contract and tender documents
  • Final acceptance inspections 
  • Principle Designers Duties under CDM requirements 

John Langton brings a high level of technical expertise to all of his projects across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Notably, John has completed several maintenance management specifications for the University of Edinburgh, safe release training for NHS Scotland and lift installation and modernisation projects in several hospitals.
