Get to Know LB Europe Regional Director North John Thompson

Meet John Thompson, Regional Director North, with more than 45 years in the lift industry. Based in Manchester, John Thompson services the North of England. With extensive experience in the vertical transportation industry, John brings a high level of technical expertise to all of his projects.

Prior to joining Lerch Bates in 2015, John held various positions across the vertical transportation industry working his way up from Field Engineer, to Lift Technician and Regional Director. Notably, John spent four years as an active member of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association on the Quality Technical Committee. In this role, Thompson participated in the developments of industry codes and standards through BSI, CEN and ISO, providing unbiased technical guidance to industry professionals.
