Kalahari Resort & Convention Center Building Envelope Design

Kalahari Resorts Round Rock is a $550 million, 350-acre adventure complex. The African-themed resort experience will offer the largest indoor water park in America and will showcase a beyond-expectations experience for guests. The complex will feature nearly 1,000 guest rooms, a 220,000 SF state-of-the-art convention center, outdoor pools spanning three acres, and a series of restaurants and retail venues.

Working with HKS Architects, Lerch Bates’ services include participation in Design Charrette Meetings, full building envelope Technical Design Plan and Specification Reviews, Shop Drawing & Submittals Reviews, On-Site Quality Assurance Observations, ASTM E783 and E1105 Air and Water Testing for Mock-up and In-Situ conditions, and Close-out Quality Assurance and Reporting.
