About John

John Langton, Vertical Transportation Consultant joined Lerch Bates in January 2022 and has over 36 years’ experience in the elevator industry, initially as an Engineer and subsequently progressing to Senior Engineer and Project Manager. John has a wide technical experience ranging from Offshore project management in the Oil & Gas Industry as well as being a appointed Technical Trainer with his last organisation.

Previously, John worked for TK Elevator UK for over twenty-five years, firstly as a Test Engineer and then as Senior Engineer and Project Manager.

  • Vertical Transportation System Analysis
  • Preparation of Contract Documents for the Vertical Transportation Equipment
  • Review of Vertical Transportation Tender Documents and Recommendation
  • Final Acceptance Inspection and Witness Testing of Vertical Transportation Equipment
