Jacob Erwin

With Lerch Bates since 2015, Jacob currently serves as Vice President – Architectural Design for Lerch Bates. In his current role, Jacob is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and leading the Lerch Bates’ multi-discipline Vertical Transportation, Facade Design and Access as well as Logistics teams that support the Architectural Design community throughout the Central portion of the US. Previously, Mr. Erwin’s career consisted of multiple roles both within Lerch Bates and with several OEM elevator groups.

Areas of Expertise

As Vice President – Architectural Design, Mr. Erwin is responsible for the following functions:

• Technical Area Team Lead for Architectural Design
• Vertical Transportation System Studies including FAA, NFPA 130 and APTA standards
• Design and Contract Documents for the Vertical Transportation Equipment from both New Design and Existing Building
• Complete Administration of Design and Construction Services for the Vertical Transportation Equipment
• Vertical Transportation Maintenance Evaluations
• Conduct Due Diligence Studies
