Team LB member Gary Engelman is featured in the ninth edition of The People Issue, an annual recognition of fifteen vertical transportation consultants, engineers, entrepreneurs, code experts and sales professionals by Elevator World.
Gary is a third-generation elevator industry professional who worked for Schindler Elevator Corporation for twelve years before joining Lerch Bates in 2023, blending his expertise of vertical transportation equipment, maintenance needs and OEM products to provide unmatched solutions to LB clients. Safety is an integral part of the services Gary provides, and his QEI certification allows him to provide support through inspections and code compliance.
In addition to the amazing service Gary provides to our clients, he is also passionate about inspiring the next generation of vertical transportation experts. Gary’s nominator, Jaclyn Ramm from Fives, praised his efforts to inspire women to join the industry by speaking at events like International Women’s Day to share real-world stories and inspire people, like his daughters, to consider a career in the industry.
