Beach House Façade Design

The project  in San Diego, California evolved from the architect’s massing model and inspirational images of the Museum of American Folk Art which we provided facade design, engineering and construction administration/management. Working with the client and the architect, our design/engineering team developed a contrasting machined joinery and bronze plate with the organic surfaces of the cast bronze panels. We integrated the bronze cladding with the steel structure, GFRC hearth and leather cladding system.
