Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center

Lerch Bates was able to collaborate with Mortenson Construction and RK Mechanical for field performance testing on this beautiful addition to Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The 695,000 square feet judicial center features expansive curtain wall installations showcasing the Colorado State Capitol, Civic Center Park, and Denver City-County building.  Situated on top of the building are two glass rotundas which allow natural light to beam freely into the chambers, offices, and halls below.  This project provided Lerch Bates with the unique opportunity to perform ASTM E783 air infiltration testing and  ASTM E1105 water penetration testing on an award-winning Denver structure.
