Guwahati Airport Terminal Façade Design

The natural environment in Guwahati makes the facade design and engineering absolutely critical to the buildings performance and life cycle. The facades are being designed in compliance with GRIHA requirements for a 4 Star rating. The new terminal is comprised of six vestibules for arrivals and departures that will feature high span glazed walls, perforated aluminum sunshades and semi-unitized high performance glass curtain wall. The opaque facades will feature terra cotta, GFRC, Zinc and Fibre Cement Board rain screen assemblies.
