Parking Garage Collapse

Lerch Bates was retained to assess a parking structure during construction in Iowa, following a collapse of the parking deck during concrete placement. Lerch Bates reviewed construction documents, photos and correspondence related to the collapse, and performed a site observation once the area had been repaired. Lerch Bates assisted in determining the potential causes of the collapse, providing an impartial assessment of the events that lead to the structural failure.
