Ryan has a diversified 23-year background across many construction disciplines and fields ranging from large portfolio roof assessments and reports, building enclosure investigations and quality assurance, and project management. Restoration estimating. claims analysis. non-destructive testing, installation of single-ply membrane roof systems, masonry construction, waterproofing, EIFS, job costing, and contract administration. A strong understanding of construction processes has been gained through his education and a lifetime in the construction industry. 

New construction inspection and testing experience incorporates 10 years of the following test methods: ASTM C1153 Thermographic analysis for location of wet insulation in roof assemblies, AAMA 502/503 air and water testing of residential windows, AAMA 503/ASTM E1105/ASTM E783 air and water testing of commercial products such as curtain wall, storefront and sloped glazing. FM 1-52 wind roof uplift testing. ASTM D7877 electronic leak detection of horizontal membrane; both high and low voltage systems. Air Barrier evaluations include ASTM D4541 (adhesion) and ASTM E1186 (spot air leak testing). Sealant performance ASTM C1251 Ryan heads BECS’ Certified FAA drone evaluation program.
