Peter Korff, P.E.

Peter Korff works in Lerch Bates’s Chicago office providing repair and modernization, as well as forensics consulting services. Peter has over 10 years of diverse experience in structural design, forensics, and building enclosure assessments.  

Peter joined Lerch Bates in 2025. Peter provides assessment, design and construction phase services for new and structural rehabilitation projects. His focuses include assessment of existing building enclosures and structures, diagnosis of deficiencies, development of repair scopes and budgets, design and construction document production, project bidding, construction administration, and quality assurance observation. He also provides design and construction document production for building enclosure and structural systems on new construction and additions, as well as phase services for new and rehabilitation projects. 

Peter also works providing consulting services for forensic engineering, expert witness support, appraisals, structural assessments, property condition assessments, fire damage assessments, water damage assessments, structural and non-structural repair assessments, building rehabilitation, and structural feasibility studies.
