Lerch Bates is thrilled to be part of the Solar One Environmental Education Centre, part of the East Side Coastal Resiliency (ESCR) project in New York City, providing concept design, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding and negotiation assistance, construction administration and commissioning services for their 2-stop hydro elevator.
The ESCR project is an ongoing development aiming to protect New Yorkers from the impacts of climate change, enhance ecological diversity and create additional recreation spaces for the public. The Solar One Environmental Centre, as part of these efforts, will expand on Solar One’s mission to provide environmental education, training and technical assistance to New York City’s public schools and communities.
