Lerch Bates was asked to locate rebar and post-tension (PT) tendons in a parking garage in Colorado. The non-destructive testing GPR assessment method not only allows for location of rebar/PT tendons to be identified but also locates depth to accurately select locations for assessment openings. With Lerch Bates’ location map of rebar and tendons, the contractor made the necessary openings for Lerch Bates to observe the conditions and make recommendations for repair.
