Lerch Bates observed a manufacturing facility after a claim was filed for damages resulting from a failed fire suppression water line. Lerch Bates conducted a series of site visits to observe and document the damage to the concrete slab on grade floor resulting from the water leak. After assessing the cracking and settling of areas of the slab Lerch Bates observed excavation efforts to assist in determining the potential causes of the pipe failure and the extents of damage to the building. Lerch Bates’ report included detailed information about the causes of the pipe failure to help inform repair design.
