Lerch Bates recently celebrated its employee-owners for their care and diligence after achieving 1,000 days of safety excellence. Led by the Lerch Bates Safety Team, the achievement marks a concerted, company-wide effort to ensure employee-owner wellness through programming, trainings and leadership.

“This exciting news is a testament to our Lerch Bates Safety Team and our Lerch Bates Safety Program & Procedures,” said Bart Stephan, CEO. “Congratulations to each and every one of our employee-owners on this collective achievement. We’re incredibly proud to see our organization’s focus on employee wellness and safety recognized with this milestone.”

Lerch Bates provides its employee-owners with resources for OSHA-10, OSHA-30 and HAZQWOPER certification trainings in addition to more than 40 in-house safety trainings available in Lerch Bates University, the company’s internal learning and development tool. All courses are OSHA compliant for the construction and general industry.

The Lerch Bates Safety Team includes a representative from each of the company’s specialty teams (Vertical Transportation, Logistics, Enclosures & Structures, Forensics, Façade Equipment Services) as well as each of its geographical areas. The group reviews industry policies and concerns to ensure the Lerch Bates Safety Program’s offerings are up to date and forward-thinking, then relays appropriate updates to their peers for adoption in the field.
