Jake Hourani

Jake works in Lerch Bates’s Denver office providing building envelope consulting. He has a background in structural design of residential homes and commercial office and apartment buildings and is currently pursuing professional engineering licensure. One of his past project highlights was designing components of 100,000 gallon above ground pool structure which was featured in Mr. Beast’s “Hydraulic Press vs. Lamborghini” YouTube video.  The main challenges of the project were resisting the hydrostatic pressures from the water and from the “experiments” featured in the video.

In Jake’s personal time, he loves to be outside as much as possible. This includes trail running, swimming, hiking, and camping in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. He grew up in a small suburban town outside of Philadelphia with many weekends spent at the Jersey shore.
