The Ragon Institute

The Ragon Institute in Cambridge, MA, where our newly acquired team at Studio NYL performed façade design services, was named one of the top facades covered in 2025 by The Architect’s Newspaper. The stunning façade features tapered aluminum fins that create depth while also shifting the appearance of the enclosure based on pedestrian perspective.

The space represents the Ragon’s world-class research and Cambridge’s exceptional biomedical ecosystem with a façade design that enhances energy performance through a high-efficiency, unitized curtain wall system.
