Lerch Bates provided the Vertical Transportation consulting services on over 50 pieces of VT equipment in this standard setting sports & entertainment venue in Inglewood, CA. The stadium opened in 2020 and can hold up to 100,000 people. It consists of a stadium, pedestrian plaza and separate performance venue and is largely covered by a million square foot ETFE translucent canopy. In 2021, SoFi Stadium received the award for “Outstanding Architectural Engineering Project” by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
