The Kalpataru Horizon in Mumbai, India is a 33-story premium residential block comprising two towers. Considering its unique location facing the sea and wind orientation, we custom-designed three-meter span sliding windows for a high wind pressure of 2.5 Kpa. The use of laminated glass was recommended for safety. Glass blocks formed a part of the external facade.
Kalpataru Horizon has won the CNBC Awaaz Crycil Real Estate Award in 2007 for Best Residential Building. The entries for the award were at the national level.
