Submissions are open for the 2026 Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards, part of AIA Chicago’s Designight, taking place October 1, 2026. Designight seeks to recognize design achievements, advancements in decarbonization efforts and the exceptional contributions by Chicago architects to the city.
The Lerch Bates People’s Choice Awards celebrate the voices of Chicagoans through public voting of the finalists selected by the Chicago Architecture Center’s Docents and Volunteers. If you have a project that you would like to submit for a LB PCA category, submissions are open through June 12 by clicking here.
