Lerch Bates Europe has a long-standing history of working closely with numerous Housing Associations in the UK and Northern Ireland, providing specialist vertical transportation consultations, surveys and project management services.
Most recently, our team completed comprehensive surveys and reporting on 82 lifts for a Housing Association we’ve worked with since 2012. This client is responsible for care homes, palliative care and social housing. Lerch Bates Europe surveyed their lift portfolio with a particular focus on identifying modernisation and replacement priorities.
Following this survey, Lerch Bates Europe has been engaged to modernise and replace 30 lifts over a five year period. This modernisation work will also include CDM Principal Designer Services, ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of safety, compliance and design coordination.
Greg Harris, who recently retired as Technical Director of Lerch Bates Europe, led these ongoing projects. Even after retirement, Harris is proud of the continued relationship with this valuable client while ILerch Bates Europe looks forward to continuing to support Housing Associations in modernising their lift portfolios, ensuring longevity, reliability and efficiency.
