Lerch Bates was retained to assess a three-story apartment complex for potential hail damage from a recent weather event. Lerch Bates conducted a site evaluation of the facade and roof to determine if there were any signs of hailstone impact spatter marks, dents, and other distresses. After observing the stucco, wood, and stone veneer siding, Lerch Bates concluded there were no indicators of hailstone impacts. After assessing the laminate asphalt composition shingle roof system, Lerch Bates concluded it had incurred limited wind damage but had not incurred hail damage.
