Atlanta Lunch & Learns: Elevator Safety and Compliance

Recently, we introduced you to Hugh Hornsby, a Senior Consultant in our Atlanta office who specializes in vertical transportation. In addition to his consulting work, Hugh plays a key role in industry education for his community.

Initially invited by the BOMA Technical Organization to present on elevator safety in the state of Georgia, Hugh developed a session that aims to educate engineers and property management firms on elevator safety and compliance, covering topics such as mandates, regulations, emergency communications, maintenance agreements and more.

With a passion for being at the forefront of technological elevator advancements, community engagement and education has been a natural step for Hugh since joining Lerch Bates. Alongside the Georgia team, Hugh has led multiple Lunch & Learn presentations this year and looks forward to further advancing these initiatives.
