Eric Rupe exemplifies forward-thinking leadership at Lerch Bates, a 100% employee-owned global technical consulting firm headquartered in Englewood, Colorado. Since joining the company in 2010, Rupe has held several key leadership roles, including General Manager, Area Vice President, Executive Vice President and President, before being appointed CEO in January 2024.
Under Rupe’s guidance, Lerch Bates has grown fivefold over the past 15 years, expanded its global footprint and launched new service lines that support his visionary concept of Total Building Performance™—a holistic approach to optimizing building systems throughout their entire lifecycle. His leadership has driven multiple strategic acquisitions, improved internal operations, and led a digital transformation that integrated advanced technologies into engineering and consulting practices.
Rupe’s commitment to employee ownership has resulted in a 20-percent annual increase in employee wealth since 2010, reinforcing Lerch Bates’s reputation as a top employer and industry leader. As the sole Internal Executive Board Director, he represents the interests of the firm’s employee-owners on the majority-independent board.
