Woodward Headquarters & Manufacturing Facility

Woodward’s new corporate headquarters will allow for the continued growth of the organisation renowned for the design, manufacturing, and servicing of control solutions for the aerospace and industrial markets. The new 5,574 SM headquarters building utilises a curtain wall and metal panel facade to provide a modern aesthetic that capitalises on the natural beauty surrounding the site. Meanwhile, the new 27,871 SM manufacturing facility provides space for the Woodward’s Industrial Turbomachinery Systems (ITS) division. As a consultant to Mortenson Construction, Lerch Bates assisted the Design-Build team with attendance at weekly design meetings, performing technical plan and specification reviews, reviewing subcontractor submittal packages, conducting field quality assurance observations, self-performing water penetration testing, infrared (IR) roof scanning, and whole building air tightness testing to satisfy the City of Fort Collins air barrier requirements.
