Lockheed Martin Gateway Center Facility

Lockheed Martin invested £278 million to build the most advanced satellite manufacturing facility in company history. The new Gateway Center is 25,000 square meters and includes a high bay clean room, and separate Thermal Vacuum Chamber and Anechoic Chamber Icons.

Retained by Hensel Phelps Construction Company, Lerch Bates provided Design Phase Consultation including Technical Peer Reviews, Hygrothermal Analysis and 2-D THERM Modeling, BECx Plan Development, Shop Drawing & Submittal Reviews, Enclosure System QC Checklists, Field Mock-Up Testing, On-Site Quality Assurance Observations, Metal Panel Field Performance Testing via ASTM E783 and ASTM E1105, and AAMA 501.2, and a Final BECx report.
