Google Pearl Place

The Google Pearl Place Campus in Boulder, CO spans four acres and provides 30,658 square meters of office space to help accommodate company growth in the area. In addition to the office building, this campus includes indoor and outdoor event spaces and integrates a public bike path through the property.

Lerch Bates’ services included full Building Envelope Commissioning (BECx) including review of Google Project Requirements, preparation of Specifications and Testing Matrix, three Design Phase reviews with follow-up meetings,  kick-off meetings with project team and construction personnel with regular meetings throughout the duration of the project, Construction Phase quality assurance observations and implementation plan reviews, field reports and Cx issues log, review of the construction schedule, mock-up and in-situ performance testing of curtain wall and opaque wall assemblies and sealants, Electronic Leak Detection, Roof Wind Uplift Resistance Testing, review of O&M documents and final BECx report, and a 10-month warranty site visit.
