Lerch Bates Named Best Consultancy

Elevator World, the premier publisher for the global vertical transportation industry, announced the winners of its annual Ellies Awards today, naming Lerch Bates winner in the Best Consultancy category. The awards recognize North American elevator and escalator industry businesses that go above and beyond for their customers, employees, communities and the industry as a whole.

Lerch Bates was nominated by professional peers, customers and employees in the vertical transportation industry, demonstrating the company’s 75-year legacy of providing impactful technical expertise and developing trusted partnerships on all sides of the consultant relationship. This is the fourth year Lerch Bates was nominated for the award, and the fourth year Lerch Bates won the top honors for Best Consultancy.

Lerch Bates employee-owners Steve Shanks, Spencer Williams CSI and Paul Schmid received the award today at the National Association of Elevator Contractors annual conference in Louisville, KY.

Lerch Bates was founded in 1947 as the first elevator consultancy in the nation and now boasts comprehensive multidisciplinary capabilities that provide clients with technical expertise for the entire lifecycle of a building, from elevators and facades to loading docks and structures.
