Lerch Bates expands its global workforce

(DENVER, CO) March 9, 2018 – Lerch Bates, a 100 percent employee-owned international consulting firm for elevators, facade access and logistics, has unveiled plans to grow its workforce by 20 percent in 2018.

Lerch Bates, recognized as the world’s largest elevator and facade consulting firm, operates globally in nearly 40 markets in the United States, China, Canada, India and the United Arab Emirates as well as in Europe and South America. The company’s growing workforce will support its broader efforts to expand its operations in global markets. Earlier this month, the company opened a location in Santiago, Chile, due to the country’s new legislation regarding inspection and documentation of all elevator equipment. Lerch Bates will operate in growing regions in Latin America from Chile to Mexico.

According to a study released by Research & Markets, the global construction industry is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4.2 percent from 2018 to 2023 and reach an estimated $10.5 trillion by 2023. “In this rapidly changing industry, we continue to scale our services and broaden our expertise in ways that help our clients address an increasingly diverse set of challenges,” said Bart Stephan, President and CEO of Lerch Bates. “We are optimizing our greatest asset – our consultants. With a continued steadfast focus on all business areas, our talent pool is essential to drive our continued growth.”
