About Matthew

Matt joined the Lerch Bates’ team with 14 years of forensic, building envelope, and architectural design experience. As a seasoned forensic architect and project manager, he has performed hundreds of forensic evaluations of varying building types throughout the country and presented continuing education on topics such as construction defects, veneer failures, and window flashing systems.

Notable projects include the evaluation of university buildings due to construction defects, rehabilitation of defective multi-family roofing systems, code upgrade reviews for fire damaged facilities, and storm damage assessment of condominiums and office buildings via swing stage.
