About Jason
After multiple summer internships, Jason joined the Lerch Bates family full time in 2018. As a Forensic & Building Science Specialist, Jason applies his technical knowledge and critical thinking skills to a wide range of consulting services. His primary responsibilities include forensic investigation, building enclosure field testing, quality assurance observations for new construction and rehabilitation projects, hail and wind damage assessments, and preparation of technical reports.
Jason is proficient in many types of building enclosure performance tests including ASTM E1105 water infiltration testing, ASTM E783 air leakage testing, and electronic leak detection testing of roofing, waterproofing, and traffic coatings per ASTM D7877.
In his spare time, Jason is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and sports. He loves music and can be frequently found attending live shows
