John began his career selling specialist tools, materials and equipment to jewellers, horologists, model makers and designers. His clients ranged from nuclear scientists, plastic surgeons and royal armouries specialists to colleges and hospitals. He then joined a Corporate Telecoms company and gained many years experience in Telecoms as sales manager, moving to senior sales manager covering the South of England supplying cellular, landline, vehicle tracking and IT solutions to corporate and SME sectors. John more recently worked for a leading management consultancy whose clients included Sony, Nokia, Coca Cola and Ericsson and successfully brought another leading name to their books, Toyota. Joining Lerch Bates in May 2009 John is now the director of business development at lerch Bates and is also responsible for the “in house” telesales team.
Alongside his career John has spent many years in theatre; acting, singing and dancing and gained a four year Performance Diploma from Trinity College of Music, London. He has performed for the English National Opera and West London Opera, including John Taverna’s premiere of Therese in London and at many concerts nationwide. He has also written a play and is currently working on another.
