Darren Henkel joined Lerch Bates in 1999, as a project manager in the Materials Management/Materials Handling discipline in Denver, Colorado. Darren is responsible for assisting architects in the areas of master planning, functional and space programming, equipment design, departmental layout, and bid documentation for new construction. He also collaborates with other Lerch Bates consultants in the areas of elevator and façade access consulting services. Darren began his career in the healthcare industry in the clinical setting. Prior to joining Lerch Bates, Darren worked for several national healthcare systems in the Interventional Services and Supply Chain Management areas as a healthcare provider, and as a department manager responsible for supply chain management and sterile processing operations. While with Lerch Bates, Darren has provided programming, design, and Project Management services for projects ranging from 450+bed medical/research facilities to multi-million square feet mixed use residential/retail developments.
