Michele McVey joined Lerch Bates as our Chicago Regional Manager. She brings with her 13+ years of elevator experience with the Chicago office of Otis Elevator Co. Michele first joined Otis as a sales representative taking on increased responsibilities such as new business development and modernization sales. Most recently Michele was in the role of General Manager and Regional Sales Manager. Michele is very familiar with the Chicago market and the industry. Twice she has been the personal recipient of the President's Award from Otis.
Michele has an extensive background in electrical engineering, having worked on ignition system and starter motor design including having authored two patents with Briggs and Stratton in Milwaukee. She then worked on R&D level design of hospital EKG diagnostic equipment for a company now owned by the GE Medical group.
