Pervin Das Gupta has over 25 years of broad and diverse work experience in multinational companies.
She serves as Associate Director of Lerch Bates in Mumbai, having joined the company in 2006. Pervin is responsible for management of the office and client portfolios, communications and public relations, assistance in business development and initiation of Maintenance Management. She is a dedicated advocate of Lerch Bates’ commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and is involved in strengthening the firms efforts in this area wherever Lerch Bates does business.
Pervin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Rank Diploma in Business Administration and Communications from the Bombay University. Her career began in 1978 with International Computers and then Metal Box India where she held management positions in Human Resource and Exports Divisions. In 1989 she joined Otis Elevator Company India Limited as Executive Assistant to the Management Director and subsequently was appointed Senior Manager, Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications.
In addition to her extensive administrative and communications roles, the highlight of her career has been creating a strong Volunteer Outreach Program enrolling over 1000 employees to participate with the non- profit organization, Special Olympics. In 2002 she joined Special Olympics Inc. as Regional Director, Asia Pacific with India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka reporting to her. She is a member of the Corporate Responsibility Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and also assists in planning and implementation of CSR in the Industry. She has volunteered at several World Summer and Winter Special Olympic Games.
