Prashant, a Mechanical Engineer, comes to Lerch Bates India with 36 years of experience at Otis India. During his long innings with Otis, Prashant held varied and increasing responsibilities starting from New Sales to subsequently heading the Regional Profit Centre, before moving over to lead the Corporate Field Operations.
As General Manager, Western Region, the biggest profit Centre of Otis India, he led the Regional team achieving the "Best Region" status for five consecutive years.
Whilst heading the India Corporate Group of Field Operations, he was also responsible for training and evolving new installation methods, Field Engineering, Construction, Service/Service Sales & Modernisation executions.
Prashant’s primary responsibility will be to build the Façade Access business for Lerch Bates India. His mechanical engineering background coupled with his intimate knowledge of the building industry in India will give him a headstart in this direction.
His other responsibilities will be to kick start the modernization and maintenance management business and he will also assist his other team members in the new equipment business.
