Gabriel Murray has over 20 years experience in the field of vertical transportation, material management and materials handling, during which he has been involved in a variety of roles within the industry business sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has supplemented this education with a variety of more specialist training courses throughout his career to date.
Gabriel joined Lerch Bates in 1997 and is employed as a Projects Director. During his time with Lerch Bates he has developed a detailed and broad level of experience in the Vertical Transportation, Materials Handling and Materials Management sectors although his principal areas of work have covered Project Management, Modernisation of equipment in existing fully occupied buildings and hospital projects.
In the retail sector Gabriel leads the Barclays account but also works with other clients, most notably Tesco. In the Merchant Banking sector he has worked on major projects for Barclays Global Investors, Henderson Global, Lehman Bros, and Goldman Sachs. Gabriel has also worked on a variety of hospital projects both in the new construction and modernisation field with clients including the NHS, Multiplex and Brookfields. Facilities Managers he has worked with include Nelson Bakewell, Johnson Controls, Atkins Asset Management. Hotel sector clients include Millennium Hotels, Starwood Hotels, Marriot and Hilton.
