Antony Bathurst has over nine years experience in the field of Vertical Transportation engineering, during which time he has worked on and been involved in a variety of roles within the industry business sector. He has developed a detailed and broad level of experience in the installation, project management, modernisation, maintenance and new design sectors ranging from passenger and goods lifts to escalators and moving walks.
Antony began his career in 2000 with M&E Consultants Chapman Bathurst Partnership as a Junior Engineer, rising to Intermediate engineer by 2004. He played an integral part of building and co-running the lift department over a seven year period including setting up maintenance contracts, financial management, fee tracking, asset registers, auditing and surveys and reports. He co-managed two FM based portfolios of over 150 properties for Blue Chip property management clients and was also involved with technical issues ranging from design and specification to completion and handover. Antony has an extensive history of projects ranging from offices to schools and colleges, to luxury residential apartments and private houses.
Antony joined Lerch Bates Limited in October 2006 as a Senior Consultant within the London modernisation department. He continues to expand his education, pursuing elevator industry training. He also carries out CDM Co-ordinator and Site Waste Management Plan regulation duties. His projects include modernisation, maintenance related and new development projects for well known UK Blue Chip clients such as Tesco Stores Limited and Barclays. He has also worked with Primark and Prudential Property Investment Managers Limited.
