Michel started his career in Roux-Combaluzier, France in 1966 as a mechanic before becoming chief mechanic and adjustor in Roux-Combaluzier-Schindler in 1971. He moved to Westinghouse in 1974 as an adjustor and became foreman in 1978. KONE bought Westinghouse in 1981 and Michel took on the role of Head of the Maintenance Department. Michel later became Technical Manager.
Having spent 42 years in the lift industry Michel joined Lerch Bates in January 2008 and is involved in major projects with the French Tax and Treasure Administration, property managers such as ICADE ADB and Dolleans and also with HSBC bank and the Clarins group.
